The Faithwear One Day Inter-Provincial competition is a List A domestic cricket competition held in Zimbabwe between the various province of Zimbabwe.The Eastherns are the current winners of the tournament.Earlier when the tournament started the teams where known as Masvingo , Matabeleland , Manicaland , Midlands and Mashonaland.
The team representing Mashonaland were extremly successful in domestic competitions due to their location.Since the capital of the country was located in the Mashonaland province they had access to variety of talented players.Hence the Zimbabwe Cricket Board replaced the regeional teams with 5 new tems known as Northerns,Southerns,Westerns,Centrals and Easterns.
These teams where evenly matched and hence the standard of the competition improved.The Eastherns have won two titles so far and are the current(2007/08) winners of the tournament.Each team plays with the other team once after which the top two teams play against each other in the finals.
