The Stanford 20/20 tournament is a domestic cricket competition of Twenty20 format held in West Indies at Antigua.At present the tournament is contested by 20 teams ,Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico would be joining these teams in the 2009 season.The 2008 season saw the inclusion of the Turks and Caicos Islands in the tournament.Cuba was also supposed to enter the tournament in the 2008 season but was scrapped off latter.

The tournament was established in 2005 and the first tournament was played in 2006.Allen Stanford came up with the tournament's format ,he has been working hard to revive the lost cricket spirit in West Indies.West Indies was once considered as the best by the cricket world.The first edition of the tournament was contested by 19 teams and was won by Guyana.The Trinidad and Tobago are the current winners of the tournment.
