Pakistan cricket team is the national cricket team that represents pakistan in international cricket.They are governed by the Pakistan cricket Board (PCB).Their test status was granted on 1952.They played their first test match at Feroz Shah Kolta against India on from 16 to 18 th october 1952.They are considered to be the most challenging cricket team .They did not reach the semifinals of the 2008 World Cup and were defeated by a minus team.They won the 1992 world cup and were runners up in the 1999 World Cup.They are currently in 6th position in the ICC test rankings and 5th in the ICC ODI rankings.Mohammad Yusuf is in 4th position while Younis Khan is in 10 th position in the ICC batsman ranking for test cricket.Shoiab Akhtar is placed in 9th position in the ICC bowler rankings for test cricket.Mohammad Yusuf is in 7th position in the ICC batsman rankings for ODI.Shoiab Malik is the captain of the Pakistan team.
