The Carib Beer Cup is a first class domestic cricket competition held in West Indies governed by the West Indies Cricket Board.The tournament has 6 participants of which 4 teams represent separate countries while the other two teams are a Island Combination like West Indies.The tournament has been known by various names in the past.

Shell Shield from 1965 to 1986 season

Red Stripe Cup from 1987 to 1996 season

President's Cup in the 1997 season

Busta Cup in the 1998 season

The 2000 season marked the begining of introducing foreign teams in the tournament.As of now the tournament follows the Round Robin format.Each team plays other teams once after which the top 2 teams are selected for the finals.The Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands used to participate under a single team named combined Islands till the 1980 season.

The Barbados team have been very successful having 18 titles to their name.The Jamaican team are the current(2007/2008) winners of the tournament.
